JM Search, an executive search firm for private equity, venture capital, and portfolio companies came to Push10 looking for a new website design. They felt their current site was outdated, difficult to navigate, and lacked efficient user flows.
Push10 began by dissecting JM Search’s original sitemap and creating updated wireframes. Meetings were set up, possibilities were discussed. The teams worked together to figure out how users would navigate to specific areas of content or calls to action. By collaborating, the two teams came up with great solutions.
We began by creating a visual representation of the new direction the JM Search brand would take. Our mood board gathered inspiration for text styles, color palettes, imagery, iconography, and more. Ultimately, we landed on the perfect design direction, right where bold & modern meets clean & elegant.
Teamwork is a very important aspect of the JM Search model. They're proud of their team's expertise -- their consultants average more than 15 years of search experience -- and we knew it was core to the value they deliver to their clients. While creating the wireframes for the homepage, we made the joint decision to create multiple, prominent calls to action all aimed at meeting the team. We also made sure the Team page featured large images and dynamic content that could be filtered to meet visitors' needs. Each employee has a detailed biography, accessible contact information, the sectors they work in, and a list of clients they’ve worked with.
Compelling lifestyle images pair nicely with the clean, modern design of the new website. The imagery captures the uniquely light-hearted yet professional atmosphere at JM Search.
Instead of creating a standard logo grid with a button encouraging users to "Load More", we decided to create a simple animation that brings some movement, action, and life to the site.
Our custom, easy-to-use WordPress system gives the JM Search team the flexibility to select which news articles they’d like to feature at any given time.
Push10 created a responsive web design that was easily adapted to tablet and mobile. The design team worked closely with Polymer Digital to develop a seamless cross-device website experience, to ensure all devices presented the same high-quality usability.
