Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties does a lot of good for their community. So much good in fact, that their audience was unsure what the organization specifically offered. As part of our 2019 Pro Bono Campaign, we linked arms with this Austin-based nonprofit to gift them a new brand strategy, a new visual identity, a new homepage design, and a renewed promise for impacting the greater community.
A Logo for the Future
The wordmark we designed ensures that Opportunities is synonymous with Optimism – a path toward a better future, and a commitment to a better quality of life. Clean and legible, it is built to stand the test of time. The subtle notch in the letter ‘O’ opens like a road out into the horizon, while the resulting shape mimics a human silhouette, the center of everything that Opportunities does.
Opportunities, Online & Organized
For staff and the public, the former Opportunities web design was a source of frustration, not pride. To fix that, we started by clarifying their brand identity and program hierarchy, then designed a new homepage that communicated their message clearly, succinctly, and with the heart of the Opportunities brand imbued in every last detail. Now, the site works: for staff, the public, and the greater good.
