The Ideal UX Strategist will:

  • Lead the strategic planning and research phase of our web design process
  • Gather and review existing materials, establish site requirements
  • Perform various research including stakeholder interviews, client surveys and competitive analysis
  • Research and understand our clients’ target markets and create relevant user personas
  • Conduct measurable usability testing
  • Conduct content audits and establish sound content strategies with SEO considerations
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of basic SEO principles
  • Conduct discovery workshops with clients
  • Document research findings, deliver reports to key stakeholders
  • Create site maps based on content audits, strategy, and requirements
  • Have a commanding knowledge of ADA and GDPR compliance regulations
  • Assist the design team with interactive prototyping (wireframes)
  • Work closely with Creative Director and Project Managers to establish and execute projects that are on-brand, on-time, and within budget
  • Conduct post-launch testing analytics reviews
  • Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities and challenges
  • Develop basic digital marketing plans, enabling us to better serve our clients by increasing traffic to their sites
  • Use data to present reports and actionable steps to clients, as well as our internal team
  • Come up with “big ideas” of new creative, yet cost effective marketing initiatives for our clients
  • Have an understanding of how brand strategy fits into the full marketing mix
  • Uncover additional opportunities to grow our clients’ brands and increase our long-term engagement
  • Ensure the success of the strategy and promote the ideal user experience
  • Demonstrate versatility and the ability to create content to serve the needs of a wide range of clients
  • Deliver content corresponding to overall marketing strategies and editorial plans to achieve SEO and content publication goals
  • Assist with QA/testing of client’s websites, ensure content strategy is being properly executed

Basic Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in UX Research and Digital Strategy, preferably at a Digital Agency
  • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and creative skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or public relations
  • Possess a basic understanding of content entry via WordPress
  • Proficiency in a Mac-based environment

Important Application Details:
Must be local to Philadelphia and be able to commute to our office in Old City during regular business hours. We are not offering compensation for relocation expenses.

Salary:
Salary to be discussed and determined based on relevant experience.
